Monday, March 7th, 2011My name is terry Pearce; I have had teeth that were missing, teeth that needed a lot of work, and it’s something that I thought about a lot but never had the guts to do it until I found Dr. Wilcox. After my consultation with him that went really well, I had a complete mouth make-over. The entire process was really great, I had a lot of anxiety beforehand. For a very long time, I wouldn’t go to the dentist because I hated going, but that’s all changed now. I came to Dr. Wilcox’s office and the whole procedure was unbelievable. I kick myself for not doing it a long time ago. It was painless for all the work that I had done, I came in one day and came out the next.
Since coming to Dr. Wilcox, every six months I’m here like clockwork, I don’t miss an appointment, I look forward to coming because obviously I have something to be proud of now and I want to take care of that. It gives you a whole new level of confidence especially when you are in the general public’s eye and talking to people a lot. You can smile and know that they are looking at a smile that they probably wished that they had.

My wife and I have been coming to Dr. Wilcox for all of our dental work checkups, cavity issues and so forth for longer than I can remember. A few years ago we had veneers for both the top and bottom teeth. I don’t know if I had any fears because Dr. Wilcox explained what was going to happen and what my teeth were going to look like. I find that they do a great job in preparing you for going through the process. As a result of getting the veneers I probably smile more due to the fact that I use to be a little bit concerned since my smile was not perfect, but now with the veneers, i no longer have that concern.
I absolutely would recommend Dr. Wilcox for a couple of reasons; one, the great service you get from the entire staff, the customer service here has always been outstanding. We just enjoy coming and having the work done here. My wife and I had veneers done by Dr. Wilcox and love the work done for us. We have been very happy, we think he’s done a great job and have never had a problem with the work that he’s done on us for dental.

Monday, February 21st, 2011My name is LeAnn and I had a front tooth that died when I was about 17 years old that need to be replaced. When I had the tooth replaced; I told my dentist that it was too white and as I got older, my other teeth yellowed and my replacement tooth stood out like a neon sign. With that one tooth the way that it was, I had to hide my smile, which was hard for me because I’m the kind of person that laughs all the time. That one tooth hindered my ability to enjoy myself, so my husband offered to redo my teeth for me.
I went on the web looking for a dentist in my area and found a website that talked about all the different types of procedures that you could do and at the end of the website, the only recommended dentist listed was Dr. Wilcox. I called him and had veneers put on my teeth. The procedure was wonderful, I didn’t have any problems, it was very comfortable, everyone was very nice and didn’t have any of the trauma of someone working on your teeth. It was wonderful. I have not had any problems with Desert Smiles Dentistry. After the procedure I have had comments all the time from people anywhere from the teenager behind the fast food counter to a couple that came to our garage sale and they would tell me “your teeth were beautiful, they’re beautiful.”

I have been phobic of dentistry and when I came to see Dr. Wilcox his smile was very comforting. I am happy with the results. The results were great and Dr. Wilcox is very patient.
I don’t have to use Sedation Dentistry in order to go to the dentist. I like it here and I am very satisfied with the results.
I love everything about my results. Starting off, when I am talking to someone they always make a comment about my teeth! Not only are they beautiful, but all the work that was done was good. My mouth is functional, healthy, and I have no problems with them. I don’t even think about the dental appliances in my mouth that are not mine. I think they are mine, and it makes me smile.
I am very happy with Desert Smiles and I want everyone to know how pleasant it is. The atmosphere…. to come here to be well taken care of, you’re not just a number, you’re not just a patient, you are someone that has a need that will be addressed and taken care of. I was looking online for a place that does reconstructive surgery on my mouth and Desert Smiles was one of the results that popped up so I gave them a call. By the age of 21, I decided that I didn’t want to go through three years of braces, I had a lot of crowding in my mouth. Dr. Wilcox said that we could fix that with some reconstructive surgery and the cost was pretty much the same anyways.
I had reconstructive surgery done on my bottom teeth. I had porcelain veneers put it, so total reconstruction.It was like getting braces but having the results over night! It has been amazing. From day one, they have taken care of me, they made me feel at home, everyone is very friendly, and the outcome was fantastic.
The confidence that you get from having a perfect smile is phenomenal. You feel more comfortable in your own skin and you feel brighter, happier, and able to walk up to strangers. My parents said the same thing. They have told me what a difference it has made in my own life. How much more outgoing is really the word for it. I am not self conscious.
The last thing you want to do is smile with your mouth closed in your own wedding pictures. I am going to be able to smile and be comfortable. That is all you want to do on your wedding day is just smile. There were no drawbacks and it wasn’t painful.
It was an instant gratification of a perfect smile and what it does for your life is worth every penny.

It was General Dental Care when I was growing up: cleanings, preventative care, and general cavities. I recently went in for some cosmetic work. I was missing two of my adult teeth and I had them bonded originally, over time the bonding had worn off. So, I decided the next best option was to go with a more permanent Porcelain Veneer option. That was in 2002, so it has been over 8 years now.
I get a lot of compliments from people on how natural my teeth look, how white they look, how perfect they look which in my opinion is one of the best comments I could receive. How natural something looks that was unnatural. I would recommend [this] to anyone that asks. I have referred a few people to Desert Smiles and some of them are patients now.
